Ateneo de Naga Alumni Mass 2010

The Ateneo de Naga High School Batch 1974 retains its ties with the Alma Mater with the unfaltering sponsorship of the Alumni Mass every last Sunday of April. For over 15 years now, the batch has sponsored the said event. This Sunday, April 25, the tradition continues.
Alumni Mass 2009 Held Successfully

It was the Alumni Mass to re-unite the Ateneo de Naga High School Pillars of 1974. And it did just that.
The Alumni Mass this April 26 continued the tradition of Ateneo de Naga High School Batch 1974 as the yearly sponsor of the mass held at the Ateneo de Naga chapel every last Sunday of April. This also provided batchmates to get together and exchange notes and to associate with the Ateneo community as a whole.

On April 26, 2009, last Sunday of this month, the Ateneo de Naga High School batch 1974 sponsors the regular alumni mass and get together. This marks the 13th consecutive year that the batch has sponsored the said activity.

Batchmates,
Kumusta tabi kamo? Anyway, my short story - Salvage(d), about what else, salvaging, our Mayon volcano, the Payatas dumpsite collapse and the closure of the US base in Subic; and three poems of mine are included in this Fil-American anthology launched last month in San Francisco. Thursday, April 17th, 2008 Last March, I was very fortunate enough to be invited to be the Commencement Speaker of Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) in Zamboanga City , one of the biggest state universities in the Philippines . During my brief stay at WMSU, I was able to have a session with 30 of their student leaders who are leading their student council and other student organizations in their school.

It was a privilege to have been able to attend the convention and represented the HS Pillars of 74 and be able to be part of our batchmate Ed Del Rosario's very own "Ed Del Rosario Group of Companies" which was the primary (Platinum) sponsor of the affair. EDR, as he is known here, has successfully built solid holdings here and in Manila having been in the real estate business for almost 19 years. In 1990, he started a parnership that acquired them a franchise with Caldwell Banker. besides the real estate, EDR has ivestments in the structural steel industry in the US but being outsourced to Manila. He is truly the pride of HS Pillars of 74.I felt so proud having been with him. He is a changed man now (sabi niya), very different from the Ed Del Rosario whom Pokoy F knew in college and law school days.
